Sous Chef

Federal Hill Trattoria is hiring a Sous Chef in Providence, RI. You will run the line with our Executive Chef and help lead a kitchen known for handmade pasta and wood-fired dishes. What you will do: - Lead the kitchen during service and expedite orders - Make pasta, sauces and specials from scratch - Train and support line cooks - Order food, manage inventory and keep food costs in check - Keep the kitchen clean and food-safe About you: - At least three years as a sous chef or lead line cook - Experience with Italian cooking or handmade pasta is a plus - ServSafe Manager certification - A calm, organized leader What we offer: - $24 to $28 per hour - Health insurance and paid time off - Free shift meals and dining discounts - Two days off in a row every week How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
